Our firm was founded by attorney Bennett J. Montzka in 1991. Mr. Montzka entered the legal profession because of a desire to serve his local community, a commitment he maintains to this day. After graduating from the University of Minnesota School of Law, he served as a judicial law clerk for a few years, gaining valuable insight into the practice of law and the Minnesota court system, before setting-up his own firm, Montzka Legal Services, in his hometown of Wyoming.
In addition to running our practice, Mr. Montzka is heavily involved within the Chisago County community. He has served as a county commissioner since 1998. In this capacity, he has acted in leadership positions and maintains active memberships on a variety of boards and task forces related to community improvements. He also regularly volunteers with the local organizations and various community fundraisers.
